A friend of mine was actually one of the amazing women behind launching Mentor Walks in Melbourne – a great initiative! I have been on two walks and found them so enjoyable. It’s helpful to have a question / thought starter in mind to ask the mentor you will be paired with but yes the conversation flows effortlessly once you start walking! Enjoy 🙂

Agreed! I think about this book often since reading it. Particularly when you see a new sexual assault case in the news. Just recently they convicted the two men in Melbourne for the caravan park assault. I’m so grateful women are able to even speak up and follow it through the justice system after hearing about all the hurdles from Bri’s insights!

I’ve also been conscious of Brexit although Australian friends of mine living in London haven’t found any issues securing work so I’m trying to be as positive as I can !

After much back and forth (mentally & emotionally) I’ve decided to make my #1 dream come true and move to London! In May.

I am so interested in this thread, I am thinking of moving in January…
Brexit is the only thing I am weary of, not for immigration problems but potential issues securing employment if it all goes bad and it effects the job market.

Is anyone else reading Daisy Jones & The Six?! Recommended in the “What to read in March”. I can’t put it down….easy, enjoyable read and exciting to think Reese Witherspoon will be turning it into (what I’m hoping will be) the next Big Little Lies !!

I was talking to a wonderful new colleague last week and she mentioned she recently put in a street library!! Such a wonderful way to band together as a community 🙂
