Thanks so much for your feedback @hmccabe and @pattiandrews – the balance between brief and enough is something I really struggle with – along with the balance of sounding confident v arrogant. I found myself asking my husband last night – “does this sound too wanky”? He responded “would a man ever worry about that?”. A-men!

Yes, @rhansen that episode really resonated with me. Its hard, because I do actually enjoy doing those kinds of things (as I tend to be a nurturer, its a Cancerian thing I swear!). But since that episode I have put my foot down and now flat out refuse to do it, unless I really, really want to.

Its a term I struggle with a little. I’m semi-ok with ‘Work wife’ in the context of a work-bestie. But in the past I have experienced it in the realms of work wife being the one who brings afternoon tea to a team meeting, or puts out water + glasses etc (ie tasks which no male colleague would think to do).

So much FOMO! I need to treat myself to a trip across the ditch one day…Hobart = Slowbart
