Hi Sharon, I studied ancient history and our textbook was called ‘Wheelock’s Latin’, so when I saw your name I suddenly felt oddly nervous! What kind of work/writing from home are you thinking about?

  Hi. Thanks for your message. I didn’t know about ‘Wheelock’s Latin’ – I will have to look it up. I don’t know what kind of writing I might be able to do – I was thinking about copywriting but I would like to do some courses on that first. Otherwise, maybe articles and essays. I write on Medium and Substack but do not make any money from them…

    Ah! I think copywriting can be great work if you can build up your network. I’ve training in copyediting, but found it hard to build a client base as a freelancer.
